IN SEZ “ZAKARPATTYA” ALREADY IMPLEMENTED INVESTMENT PROJECTS:

 

JSC “Zakarpatinterport”.

 

The open joint-stock company "Zakarpatinterport" using its own costs realizes on territory of 10,0 ha the investment project "Developing of the transport infrastructure on railway border transitions in Zakarpattya region between Ukraine and southeastern countries".

The main task of the project is building of modern potent material and technical base intended for package tour export - import and goods in transit.

According to technological calculations of the investment project, it is envisioned at the expense of building economically attractive climate (preferential customs and taxation order), to fix the competitive rates on a complex of services and to attract a additional freight traffic to Ukraine.

The construction of a customs infrastructure essentially has improved conditions for realization of operations service of the foreign trade consignments and promoted further growth of work amounts.

 

JSC «Avtoport-Chop»

 

One of the subjects of SEZ «Zakarpattya» is JSC «Avtoport-Chop», which beginned the operation in 1996, first in Ukraine. The fact of participation in opening of «Àvtoport-Chop» of the Presidents of Ukraine and Hungary testifies the relevance of this object.

The main task of «Àvtoport-Chop»:

  • Speed-up of  the consignments passing through state border of Ukraine;

  • Environmental sanitation of the region’s ecosystem;

  • Building of effective conditions for work and rest.

The autoport provides:

  • Registration of the goods removal through custom border of Ukraine;

  • Realization of transhipments, warehousing of the goods under the customs control, preserving of vehicles;

  • Complex of services for transport, including: gas-stations, motel, medical services, providing the information about removal of transport etc.;

  • Activity in special economic zone «Zakarpattya», creating of the enterprises on territory of SEZ, providing the territory for realization of the investment projects, international trade;

  • Realization of customs «clearing» of the goods;

  • Development of the offers concerning improvement of normative base of activity;

  • Increase of a role of Ukraine as transit state.

ABK LTD

 

The firm ABK LTD will realize the investment project “Assembly of wall gas vehicles “THERM”.

Main direction of activity of the enterprise is the production activity, which includes:

  •  Assembly of wall gas vehicles «THERM» heat productivity from 6 to 45 kw from element base from the leading importers of heating engineering of Italy, Germany, Czechia;

  •  Designing and mounting "on a turn-key basis" modern systems of water radiator and floor heating, roof, built-in and attached autonomous automated boiler-houses in "cascade" performance on the basis by modern, power saving of engineering and materials of European level;

  •  Guarantee and post-guarantee service of gas boiler and vehicles, boiler-houses and heater systems;

  • Preparation of the service experts of gas boiler, vehicles, boiler-houses and heater systems for locales of Ukraine.

The indicated activity belongs to sphere of power saving, which is one of the most priority branches of the national economy and problem ¹1 of Ukraine.

The investment project envisions realization of such vehicles on the sum 980750$ per the first year with increasing of volumes of realization up to 2704000$ during following two years. The activity of the enterprise is oriented extremely on the domestic consumer, on maintenance of Ukraine market by modern and accessible with the price power saving generators of heat and systems of heat using.

For realization of the project the involving property (technologic equipment) and money (for purchase of import components) investments of total amount of 265,8 thousand US dollars is planned. The net profit, which is planned to receive in the end of the third year, will make according to calculations near 160 thousand US dollars.

 

JSC «Eurocar»

 

The investment project "The Assembly of automobiles "Skoda" on territory of  SEZ "Zakarpattya" was presented by JSC "Eurocar". The enterprise JSC "Eurocar" commits the activity in cooperation with the Czech concern "Skoda auto a.s." and German concern “Volkswagen” with the purpose of providing the market with automobiles of the reasonable price and european quality, satisfaction of the needs in automobiles "Skoda" in Ukraine, organization of production of large - nodal assembly of automobiles, localization of production, preparation of indispensable base for full assembly of automobiles.

The assembly of the automobile "Skoda" will go on in some stages:

The first stage - 2001-2002 years

  • 15000 automobiles per year;

  • quantity of workplaces at a factory and in system of selling - about 2000;

  • volume of investments - more than $15 mln;

  • on December 19, 2001 put in operation the first turn of construction of factory.

The second stage - 2003-2004 years.

  • Organization of deep assembly.

  • volume of production about 45000 automobiles per year;

  • use of domestic components;

  • quantity of workers - up to 6,5 thousand (in view of the enterprises for manufacture of components - almost 30 thousand);

  • volume of investments - $200.000.000.

At a factory a complete model line of automobiles "Skoda" will be produced: "Octavia", "Octavia Combi", "Fabia", "Fabia Sedan", "Fabia Combi". In addition to this at the given moment the concern "Volkswagen Group" considers a question on creation on base "Eurocar" of manufacture of automobiles "Volkswagen".

 

“ZAKARPATINVEST” Ltd

 

The executor of the investment project «Organization of iodinated water concentrate production under the licenses of MPK «JARK-KIEV» on territory of SEZ «Zakarpattya» is «Zakarpatinvest» Ltd, that was registered on 30.06.2001. The question of land lot granting of the area 5,5 ha for construction of factory and infrastructure is solving.

The general estimate of cost of the project accordingly to the business - plan constitutes $1197,4 thousand. Quantity of working places - 30, quantity of addinional working places under condition of further development of the enterprise - 60-80.

 

Private Enterprise "Hemicon A.G."

 

 

The firm «Hemicon A.G.» plans to begin realization of the project «Creation of multifunctional trade-expocentre with a production sector on territory of SEZ «Zakarpattya». Directions of the project:

  • Exhibition activity;

  • All kinds of trade;

  • Production activity;

  • Providing of high quality information services;

  • Providing of services (hotel, banking, transport, all types of communication).

The total cost of the project constitutes 35 million US dollars.

 

“Landcost Invest” GmbH

 

“Landcost Invest” GmbH  realizes the investment project «Organization of manufacture of meat and sausage production on territory of SEZ «Zakarpattya». For this purpose it plans to construct in a special economic zone a factory for manufacturing of meat and sausage products.

The total cost of the investment project makes 13,1 mln. euro. As a result of realization the 1 stage of the project will be created 100 working places, and at the further development of the enterprise up to 170. «Landcost Invest» plans to hand over the first turn of a factory in operation in October, 2003.

The financing of the project will be bank loan and costs of the investor.

 

 

 «UBI» LTD

 

With the purpose of realization of the investment project «Providing of the logistic services on territory of SEZ «Zakarpattya» “UBI” Ltd  plans to use a special warehouse created according to the current legislation on territory of SEZ «Zakarpattya», on which the regime of the special customs zone is established.

«UBI» plans to give such kinds of services:

  • Storage of the goods;

  • Wholesale trade;

  • Transfer of the property right on the goods, which are in a warehouse of a special economic zone;

  • Other operations.

"UBI" Ltd plans to begin economic activity in 2003. The total cost of the project makes 4,7 mln. Hrn (at the second stage).

 

The potential subjects:

 

  1. "Centre of construction materials "Zakarpattya" - manufacturing of construction materials, ceramic plates etc.

  2. "Chop-transit" Ltd - processing of meat and producing of sausage production.

  3. "ENO-FURNITURE" Ltd - manufacture of furniture.

  4. "Aleta" Ltd - growing of decorative cultures.

 

On a stage of negotiations there are such investment projects:

  • Project of construction of the river-port on the river of Tisa.

  • Construction of a factory on manufacture of metal-base laminate.

  • Creation of manufacture of electronic engineering.

  • Construction of pharmaceutical factory.
